El Segundo Defense Tech Hackathon

​8VC, Entrepreneur First, and Apollo Defense are co-hosting a defense tech hackathon in an emerging hub of American hard tech — El Segundo — to connect America’s brightest young minds with cutting-edge startups, venture capitalists, and U.S. military leadership.

​In collaboration with mission partners around the world, the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) have secured problem sets around counter-UAS, AI/ML, and RF/Electronic Warfare, where innovation is vital to combatting adversaries.

​Equipped with the resources, equipment, and guidance necessary to develop and deploy solutions on the battlefield, attendees are encouraged to work on additional open-ended problem sets within defense technology.
