🟡 Financing Deep Tech Startups: Navigating the Series B Gap and Exploring the Capital Stack
This event is part of The Drop 2024. You must have a ticket to The Drop to attend. Apply for a Drop 2024 ticket.
Session Overview: Companies have to interact with the physical world to move the needle on climate. There are sophisticated infrastructure investors to finance mature physical technologies, and there are increasingly more early-stage investors excited to back deep tech founders. There is a capital gap, however, at the middle stages (especially pre-revenue Series B) for deep tech companies. We’re interested in bringing together investors and founders to discuss navigating this gap while scaling frontier climate startups.
Key Questions:
What do Series B deep tech investors look for?
How can you build a narrative for investors without the legible metrics software startups have?
How should you think about the capital stack at the mid-stage?
Who should attend? Deep tech founders and investors.
