About Event

Climate change is already here, and faster than expected. But climate solutions are advancing rapidly too. In just a few decades we need to slash emissions from 60 gigatons to near zero, scale carbon removal to 10 gigatons/year, and manage warming already in the pipeline.

Available solutions can do half of the job, and deeptech will do the other half. Marble, Frontier, RMI and the Grantham Foundation are thrilled to invite you for a special evening in Paris to explore the edge of climate solutions. This event is part of the Hello Tomorrow Deep Tech Days.

The location in central Paris will be disclosed before the event. As we have limited capacity, and to ensure diversity among participants, we can only issue 100 invitations. Please apply to attend well in advance!

We're especially looking forward to meet bright scientists and founders, but also smart investors, industry and policy folks.

Talks will be followed by casual drinks and networking.

About the hosts

Marble is a climate tech venture studio. We partner with scientists, engineers and operators to create deeptech startups that solve hard climate problems — to slash emissions, remove carbon and build climate resilience.

Frontier is a $925m advance market commitment to buy permanent carbon removal between 2022 and 2030, funded by Stripe, Alphabet, Shopify, Meta, McKinsey, and the tens of thousands of businesses using Stripe Climate.

The Grantham Foundation is on a mission to protect and improve the health of the global environment. Over the last few years, the Grantham Foundation has funded an extensive portfolio of projects focused on reducing emissions and removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

RMI is an independent nonprofit working with businesses, policymakers, communities and others to identify and scale energy system interventions. The CDR initiative assesses the long-term role of carbon removal and collaborates with leading global researchers and practitioners to advance the field.

Hello Tomorrow is the world's largest network of deeptech founders, investors and industry leaders. Founded in 2011 by and for PhD entrepreneurs, they organise a flagship Summit in Paris, March 9-10 2023. This event is part of the Deep Tech Days series happening on the same week.
