Join us on Saturday, May 18th, from 1-5pm for our Abdominal Self Massage Workshop. This transformative session offers a comprehensive understanding of the abdominal and womb space, empowering you with techniques to promote relaxation, body awareness, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
Led by experienced massage therapist and yoga instructor Maria Payne, the workshop begins with a 60-minute abdominal-focused yoga session, detoxifying the body, targeting muscles of abdomen improving circulation to the area, and preparing the body for the self-massage portion.
Following the yoga session, dive into an educational segment covering anatomy, physiology, and the importance of breathing. Gain insights to better understand and care for your body.
The highlight? Learn self-massage techniques, including Mayan abdominal massage, to relax, release trauma/stored energy and promote circulation. Techniques involve targeting the abdomen, womb, hips, and lower back. Empowering you to take healing into your own hands!
This inclusive workshop welcomes all, irrespective of prior experience with yoga or massage. Connect with your body, promote relaxation, and leave equipped with knowledge and skills for self-care and self-love.
