CryptoMondays London: Demystifying DePIN and RWA
Oh how we love an acronym in web3!
RWA (real world assets) and DePIN (decentralised physical infrastructure network) - you may have heard these buzzwords being thrown around EVERYWHERE lately, but what exactly do they mean? Why does it make sense to tokenise real world assets?
We can hear the concerns already, namely: blockchain for supply chain projects of the past went nowhere. Why is it going to be different this time'?
Well… just a few things to consider:
Blackrock, the world's largest asset manager, is excited about RWA tokenisation and just launched a $100m on-chain fund
What will this do for RWA?the elephants in the room are regulators. Are they positive or negative about the space? FCA & Bank of England recently announced the launch of a sandbox Is that a big deal?
what RWA does it actually make sense to tokenise? And which ones less so?
Luckily for you, CryptoMondays London has gathered some of the brightest minds on the subject matter to talk you through it and answer all your burning questions!
We’re so excited to welcome:
