Astha Chaturvedi is a passionate astronomer and cosmic explorer. She is pursuing her PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Surrey, building on a Master’s in Astronomy and Astrophysics from KU Leuven, Belgium.
Her experience includes contributing as a citizen scientist to prestigious organizations like NASA-IASC, NAOJ, ICRAR, and Zooniverse. Currently a Course Assistant at the University of Surrey, she also created Yugen Theory, a globally ranked top 10 astrophysics blog, where she shares her fascination for the universe.
Astha has successfully organized and managed over 10 space-related events, showcasing her skills as both an organizer and treasurer. Her research focuses on ultra faint dwarf galaxies, the Milky Way, gravitational lensing, and gravitational waves—some of the most fascinating topics in astrophysics.
