About Event

Join the Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) for an interactive, hands-on workshop that dives into the real-world challenges and trade-offs behind Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). In this session, you'll step into the shoes of key players—local communities, governments, corporations, and more—tasked with shaping the future of an NBS project.

Building on themes from the preceding panel discussion, this workshop goes beyond the buzzwords. Working in small groups, you'll use I4DI’s dynamic data dashboard to weigh competing priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and design an NBS initiative that delivers meaningful impact. Along the way, you’ll uncover the power dynamics, equity issues, and tough decisions inherent in these programs.

No NBS experience? No problem. This workshop is designed to be accessible and engaging for all attendees—no prior experience with NBS required. Stay after for drinks and discussion at our casual happy hour!
