Website Accessibility and Usability Evaluation 33 of 100
Join the team as we conduct one of a series of 100 Website Accessibility and Usability Evaluations!*
Each website evaluation follows the process developed by Maigen Thomas, founder of Level 11 Technology, an Apprenticeship Agency. We manually review websites looking at over 100 criteria aligning with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and 10 Usability Heuristics.
* You don't need to attend the evaluations in a particular order!
This process takes about 3.5 hours, and there will be a 20 minute break at 1hr 50min.
Your ticket purchase grants you access to attending the limited-seating event, along with the Level 11 Website Accessibility and Usability template, and a unique, custom event-specific NFT using POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol). The NFT commemorates your learning this valuable new skill, and indicates your advancement toward Level 1 Certification, if you choose to pursue that path.
Attendees wishing to become an Apprentice with Level 11 Technology must first learn this process by attending at least ten (10) website evaluations, and qualify for a Level 1 Certificate to be considered for paid Apprentice roles. More information is shared about the Level 11 Apprenticeship Program at each event, and questions are welcome during the post-evaluation Q & A.
This process identifies valuable accessibility issues on any website or web application and UX practitioners at all levels will learn something they can apply as in-house designers or freelancers to develop client interest.
