About Event

Welcome

Step into a warm gathering where coffee becomes a bridge between worlds. From roasteries along the Black Sea coast to Tbilisi’s emerging coffee scene—plus Russian roasters—finishing with a touch of Parisian refinement, each cup forms a chapter in an unfolding story of aroma and taste.

We’ll explore at least seven specialty and grand cru coffees, beginning with lively, fruit-forward brews that whisper of orchard mornings, then transitioning into honey-like sweetness and gentle floral notes worthy of a grand cru. Everything is prepared in a slow, deliberate manner reminiscent of a sommelier’s approach: we weigh the coffee at a precise 1:16 ratio, let it “bloom” to release delicate fragrances, and pour carefully so each subtlety has the chance to shine.

Whether you’re new to specialty coffee or well-versed in its nuances, this crescendo of flavors invites you to experience how beans, water, and ritual can come together in a transcendent cup—all in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere.

Why Attend?

Hands-On Learning

Step into an immersive brewing ritual you can easily recreate at home. Discover each precisely orchestrated step—from measuring and blooming to the final pour—that reveals every subtle note in the cup.

Flavor Exploration

Indulge in a curated selection of coffees representing multiple origins and processes, tasting everything from bright, orchard-fresh profiles to smooth, honey-like sweetness. Each pour showcases a new dimension of what coffee can be.

Cultural Connection

Although we gather under the banner of the Monaco Coffee Club, our journey bridges global coffee traditions—and my own Colombian heritage. Every cup serves as an invitation to explore fresh perspectives and shared memories, forging connections that go beyond the ritual itself.

About Me

I’m Diego Quintero, a Colombian caféologue who has dedicated years to studying the art and science of coffee. From selecting the perfect bean to mastering roast profiles and cupping techniques, I see coffee not just as a beverage, but as a doorway to bridging cultures—linking new discoveries with treasured recollections.
