The TKS Methodology: Virtual Info Session
Join us virtually on Saturday, July 26th to learn more about the program, how it works, and how it can benefit you or your child.
The Knowledge Society (TKS) is a global innovation program for students aged 13–18, designed to accelerate the next generation of impact-driven leaders. With in-person programs in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, Dubai, New York, and San Francisco, TKS trains young people to solve the world’s biggest problems using emerging technologies.
Our alumni have gone on to work at companies like OpenAI, Tesla, and NASA, while others have launched venture-backed startups like Synex Medical. TKS isn’t just about learning — it’s about doing, building, and thinking like a real-world innovator.

Joining us is Fangjin Yang (FJ), the co-founder and CEO at Imply - a private "unicorn" technology company based in Silicon Valley. Imply is a multinational company that has raised over 250M in primary and secondary capital from leading venture capitalists such as Andreessen Horowitz, private equity firms such as Thoma Bravo, and pension funds such as the Ontario Municipal Employees' Retirement System. FJ grew up in Calgary and did his bachelors and masters in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Waterloo, where he is a distinguished alumni.
FJ will talk about why he wanted to be an entrepreneur and why he thinks the world needs more of them.
