Art & Nature Escape: Visit to The Met Cloisters
Price is pay what you wish for NYC residents, must show id.
We will meet at 12pm. We can either explore on our own or join the free museum tour that takes place at 1pm.
Agenda:
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of art and nature as we explore the Met Cloisters, a branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to the art and architecture of medieval Europe. Nestled in the scenic Fort Tryon Park, The Cloisters offers breathtaking views and a unique glimpse into history through its expansive collection of medieval artworks, tapestries, and gardens.
After immersing ourselves in the art, we'll grab a drinks/snacks at the Trie Cafe and head to Fort Tyron park for a picnic. (Cafe has sandwiches, salads, baked goods, ice cream, wine, and beer, in a peaceful outdoor setting).
