Speed Dating Friends with SHAKE-SOCIAL

​Concept:
This speed-dating-inspired event is designed to create new friendships. Participants rotate through quick, engaging conversations in a fun and relaxed setting.

Structure:

1. ​​Arrival and Check-In (15 minutes):

   • ​​Participants are welcomed and checked in.

   • ​​Name tags with first names and conversation prompts are provided.

   • ​​Complimentary welcome drinks and light snacks are served.

2. ​​Introduction (10 minutes):

   • ​​The event host explains the concept and rules.

   • ​​Participants are encouraged to be open, curious, and respectful.

3. ​​Speed Friendship Rounds (30 minutes):

   • ​​Participants are paired randomly for 5-minute chats.

   • ​​Conversation prompts were provided to break the ice (e.g., "What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday?" or "What’s a hidden gem in Medellin you recommend?").

   • ​​A bell signals the end of each round, and participants rotate to the next table.
