Foster Writing Circle - Collective Questioning
Join us for a public session of a Foster Writing Circle, where we cultivate a nurturing space for writers to access their creativity without fear or judgment.
Over the course of 90 minutes, facilitators help writers drop into what feels most alive in the present moment and write from that place. After a dedicated period of focused writing, we circle back and share our experience, perhaps even reading something we’ve written.
In this AI-powered process, we’ll each write whats most alive for us, share back, and host a discussion at the intersection of what emerged.
Dan Hunt co-founded Foster three years ago and has since worked with hundreds of writers across thousands of drafts. He began his writing career as the head editor of his high school newspaper, where he wrote spicy editorials speaking truth to power, and then later founded and ran an activist publication with 700K readers. Dan now works with the narrative arts both within Foster and with other orgs, facilitating their emergence into truer and more representative shared narratives. He writes about his journey on his blog Storyless.
