Reading Rhythms Los Angeles Chapter: June 22nd
A Reading Party in the Greenhouse 🌿
We’re gathering for a reading party inside one of the most peaceful, plant-filled spaces in Los Angeles.
Tucked in a sun-drenched corner of Eagle Rock, Creature’s Plants & Coffee is a café-meets-nursery that feels like a secret garden. Step inside and you’ll find floor-to-ceiling greenery, cozy wood tables nestled among hanging vines, and soft natural light pouring into the glass-walled greenhouse. It’s the kind of place that instantly invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and stay awhile.
Bring a book you’re excited to spend time with, and we’ll guide the rhythm of the afternoon with:
Structured silent reading
Optional 1-on-1 breakouts
Nature-inspired prompts and conversation themes to help us tune into our surroundings
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and stay late—grab a drink, explore the plants, and make yourself at home. Seating is limited and flexible, so much like our outdoor reading parties, we recommend bringing a blanket or a chair to help you get comfy wherever you land.
What to Bring:
A book (or two!)
A blanket, pillow, or chair for cozy seating
A journal or notebook (optional)
Creature’s isn’t just the backdrop—it’s part of the experience.
We can’t wait to read with you in the greenhouse.
