Cinema Club: Beast (15)
βElectric Medway Cinema Club presents... Beast
βποΈ Moll (Jessie Buckley, WICKED LITTLE LETTERS, WOMEN TALKING) is 27 and still living at home, stifled by the small island community around her and too beholden to her family to break away. When she meets Pascal, a free-spirited stranger, a whole new world opens up to her and she begins to feel alive for the first time, falling madly in love. Finally breaking free from her family, Moll moves in with Pascal (Johnny Flynn, EMMA, OPERATION MINCEMEAT) to start a new life. But when he is arrested as the key suspect in a series of brutal murders, she is left isolated and afraid.
βChoosing to stand with him against the suspicions of the community, Moll finds herself forced to make choices that will impact her life forever.
βThe evening will open with an immersive XR experience created by local digital artists, showcasing the innovative work happening right here in Medway.

βAbout Cinema Club
βFounded in Spring 2025, bringing the best of indie cinema and more to Medway, Electric Medway Cinema Club is chance to catch the movies that may have passed you by, or you would never have considered seeing!
βCinema Club events may start with an XR short - such as a film, virtual reality or augmented reality experience - all commissioned by Electric Medway and from local creators. You'll get an idea of both the work we do and the talent in the area. There will be opportunity to discuss the feature film afterwards.
