Startup Societies Series: Constitutions & the State
When we build new societies, we build foundations for real lives — or for their destruction.
This series touches on the most important aspects any startup society must consider. It was run @NS in April and is available again now in May.
Overview
The state is collapsing. Startup societies — charter cities, network states, sovereign experiments — are rising to replace it.
The Startup Society Series is a 10-part discussion series for founders, builders, and thinkers already working on and thinking about startup societies - the new systems of governance, law, money, culture, AI and more.
Most sessions bring short provocations and open conversation that will help startup society founders shape their propositions and increase their chance of success.
Here in part one, we will start by reviewing existing constitutions and writing both a commandment, and constitution for your own, new, startup society.
