
Learning about the War in Israel: A Conversation with Major (Res.) Omri Attar, IDF Veteran
During this conversation Major (Res.) Omri Attar will share his first-hand account of October 7th, provide a brief history on the conflict in the Middle East, and answer audience questions.
This event is designed to promote an understanding of the current situation in Israel from someone who has lived through it. Omri will share his experiences since early October combined with his deep knowledge of the history of conflict in Middle East. All are welcome who seek to learn and understand.
Major (res.) Omri Attar is an International Relations and Public Diplomacy expert. He ran an international advocacy NGO focusing in strengthening political relations between Israel, Europe and the US. He is also the founder of "My-Leadership", a leadership building initiative, promoting public leadership within NGOs, government ministries, universities and military units. In his reserves duty, he is serving as a Brigade Operations Officer. Omri and his unit got called in the first hours of October 7th to arrive to the region and join the combat forces.
