The number, type, and size of programs, incentives, events, and capital opportunities available in NY can be overwhelming for founders – plus there hasn’t been an easy resource to find them all in one place.

NYCEDC, Vita Vera Ventures, Streetlife Ventures, Segal Ventures, and IndieBio and SOSV are here to help. Join us to celebrate the launch of a first-of-a-kind Insider Guide to NY for Climate Tech Founders. We’ll walk through this great resource, and you’ll hear from a panel of experts on how to best leverage them in building your company in NY.

Agenda:
9:30am Doors Open, breakfast and networking
10:00am Introduction to the guide and panel discussion
10:30am Q&A

About the Hosts:
Vita Vera Ventures is an early stage climate tech fund, investing at the intersection of food, materials, and technology. We support digital and deep tech startups transforming the global food system to advance supply chain resiliency, human health, and planet health.

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that works for a vibrant, inclusive, and globally competitive economy for all New Yorkers. We take a comprehensive approach, through four main strategies: strengthen confidence in NYC as a great place to do business; grow innovative sectors with a focus on equity; build neighborhoods as places to live, learn, work, and play; and deliver sustainable infrastructure for communities and the city's future economy. To learn more about what we do, visit us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

Streetlife Ventures invests in pre-seed and seed B2B startups at the intersection of climate and urban areas, across the buildings, energy, mobility and logistics, waste and water, and adaptation sectors. We also partner with cities, real estate developers, and infrastructure groups to de-risk urban climate solutions and accelerate a startup's path to commercialization.

IndieBio is part of SOSV, a global early-stage venture capital firm providing investment to support founders' big ideas.

Segal Ventures LP is an early stage investment firm that primarily focuses on VC funds led by emerging, female managers and invests opportunistically in selected companies.
