Toronto Web Emerging Party
A scene is emerging in Toronto - connecting inner healing/growth, collective experiences, and a desire to shift our systems towards something more forgiving and joyful for all. Or something like that.
This party is a space to connect the dots of this emerging scene, both through mapping 🗺️ and through human to human connection. 🤗🤗 Meet others from across this emerging web and discover the shape of this scene with us!
Many of you have already joined the Toronto Emerging Web map - this event is for you! If you haven't yet, click here to join and view the map.
Event flow:
7:00 - Doors open
7:30 - Opening remarks & orientation
7:45 - Open exploration with three levels:
👩🏻🦱 Head (Upstairs): Make sense of the map together, explore meaningful questions about what we are sensing is emerging in Toronto.
🫀 Heart (Main floor): Connect with others around what matters. Be present with the relationships that are growing all around us in the room.
🎵 Soul (Bass-ment): DJs and good vibes invite us into our bodies, to connect without words, and let art and intuition surface.
10:30 - Closing share circle

This event is hosted by Meghan Hellstern & Naryan Wong, two regular people living in Toronto who have been sensing this emerging web for a while. When we talk to others at events around the city, we often find resonance - shared frustrations, shared desires, and a shared sense that something is shifting. We built the map as a light-weight experiment to see what might become visible, what might be attracted by our fuzzy invitation.
This event is pay-what-you-want, with estimated expenses of around $400. All proceeds beyond expenses will be shared among the volunteers that make this event possible.
Any questions or comments? Feel free to connect with Naryan via LinkedIn or X!
