​​About Your Presenter: Eddie Harris
Dr. Eddie D. Harris is a dedicated educator, business leader, and community advocate based in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Harris began his academic journey at LeMoyne-Owen College, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He continued his education with an MBA from Bethel University, culminating in a Doctoral Degree from Walden University. His diverse educational background laid the foundation for a multifaceted career.
For over 20 years, Dr. Harris worked at Chrysler, gaining valuable experience in the automotive industry. In addition to his corporate work, he has been an entrepreneur, owning several businesses in Memphis, which has allowed him to contribute to the local economy and support his community.
Transitioning from the corporate world to education, Dr. Harris served as a 5th-grade school teacher before becoming a college professor, where he inspired countless students. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Director at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, where he is passionate about helping aspiring entrepreneurs realize their business goals.
