Joseph Horsman, Early Stage Biotech Investor, Madrona
Joe invests in early-stage companies merging life sciences and computer sciences. He has a strong background in AI/ML and multi-omics. Previously, he worked in business development at Roche and NanoString, and led business development at Stratos Genomics. Joe has a scientific background and is passionate about innovative biology.

Tae Han, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at ProfoundBio
Tae has extensive experience in drug development across oncology, neuroscience, and cardiovascular areas. He co-founded ProfoundBio, which was acquired by Genmab for $1.8B. Tae holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from UCLA

Ivan Liachko, Founder & CEO, Phase Genomics
Ivan is a molecular geneticist and the CEO of Phase Genomics. He is an inventor of Phase’s core technology and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers. Ivan’s work focuses on microbial genomics and synthetic biology, and he is passionate about applying genomic technologies for global improvement.

Jane Zhang, Co-Founder & CEO, Remmie Health
Jane is a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering with an MBA, and has worked across product R&D, patient data analytics, and commercial strategy. She has launched major biotech products and is the founder of Remmie Health, which was inspired by her personal family experiences. She holds a Ph.D. from Boston University and an MBA from UCLA.

Eva specializes in FDA regulatory and healthcare law, advising on corporate transactions, FDA approvals, compliance, and risk assessments. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from Yale, an M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins, and a J.D. from UC Law San Francisco.

Parking and navigation instruction:

To drive there: Map to 750 Republican St (entrance between 8th and Dexter) for free parking on p2 or p3 levels as long as there are no restriction signs such as patient parking only etc. Please keep the ticket to exit the garage. Follow signs for F building to locate F106 on first floor.

To walk there: The F building entrance will be on the small plaza between E&F buildings. Note the entrance door will be right below the skybridge between the two buildings.
