​Stand With Crypto is taking over Astor Place Plaza for an evening spotlighting the intersection of crypto, culture, and civic engagement in the heart of New York City. 

​Crypto is for everyone. Crypto empowers creatives, it unlocks economic benefits for small businesses, and it is an emerging voting bloc of young and diverse, open-minded citizens who believe in a better future.

​Attendees will be able to experience using crypto firsthand - on a first come, first serve basis, we will distribute free crypto for people to use at select vendors. Vendors that accept crypto do not have to pay any middlemen or transaction fees to do business, and do not need to work with banks to operate.

​We will also have staff on site to provide information about the upcoming mayoral election - where to vote, how to vote - and help them register for the general election later this year. 

​New York City is positioned to be a worldwide hub for crypto, and the next Mayor will be crucial in advancing the future of crypto innovation in the city. With over 157K registered Stand With Crypto advocates in NY, crypto voters can have an impact on the upcoming election if they make their voices heard.
