Creating an Ag Tech Ecosystem Through Trust, Technology Stewardship, and Local Adaptability
In order to create a sustainable ecosystem of technology, OpenTEAM is building trust with collaborators and technologies, improving interoperability among systems, and adapting tools for soil health practices locally. OpenTEAM has collectively designed the functional core and framework for transparency in our food system and laid the groundwork to accelerate future development that is responsive to the needs of end users. This framework is not theoretical - it is built and actively used by a diverse global network of farms, farmer networks and other organizations. Sign up for this webinar to get an overview of OpenTEAM, our core functions, the progress we have made, and our work to come in the new year.

About The Webinar Series
Over the last 3 years, OpenTEAM has collectively designed and built a free, equitable, open source toolkit that provides a framework for universal access to agricultural knowledge, laying the groundwork to accelerate future development that is responsive to the needs of producers, purchasers, governments and markets. We are incorporating an equity lens into the work that we do so that we can design a technology ecosystem that is more accessible, equitable, and universal for the diverse group of farmers and food companies that are a part of it. By acting as a convener, technology steward, and facilitator, OpenTEAM is sharing agricultural knowledge and increasing interoperability for a cohesive, sustainable technology ecosystem that supports farmers and ranchers globally.

Join us for our “Creating the Ag Tech Ecosystem,” webinar series that features this work, why it is important, and our progress from 2021. You will hear a wide range of panelists from across the OpenTEAM community discuss equity in agriculture, data interoperability & architecture, soil health measurement protocols, and avenues of community building and governance. We will share why incorporating each of these into the sustainable technology ecosystem we are creating are fundamental to the future we envision and how you can get involved in this work.
