The Compute Collective is a community of builders working in data, AI, and the cloud computing space to network, learn, and get inspired.

Hosted by Saurabh Sharma, Partner at Jump Capital, the Compute Collective event series invites technology leaders from high-growth data and AI native startups to share their product journeys with fellow builders and create a space for community-building and comradery.

Our kick-off guest is Alex Gallego, Founder & CEO of Redpanda - a powerful, cost-efficient, and Kafka® API compatible platform that eliminates Kafka complexity. Alex founded Redpanda in 2019 with the vision to simplify data streaming for the Enterprises. Before Redpanda, Alex was the co-founder and CTO of Concord.io, a high-performance stream-processing engine acquired by Akamai.

What you can expect:

  • 5:30 pm | Doors open, Community Networking with food + drink

  • 6:15 pm | Welcome, Introduction to Alex Gallego + Redpanda

  • 6:30 pm | Fireside chat with Saurabh + Alex begins

  • 7:00 pm | Q&A, Open discussion + mixer

Pre-registration is required for admission.

FAQs
1. What is The Compute Collective?

First and foremost, the Compute Collective is a community for technical builders working in data, AI and cloud computing space (developers, data scientists, AI researchers, ML & data engineers, product managers, entrepreneurs, and more). Other ecosystem friends are welcome, but the aim is to create a space for technology builders to gather.

2. Why should you attend?

We plan to gather the community together often for members to hear and learn from leaders building high-growth, cutting-edge companies that are data and AI native. Attendees will be able to establish and deepen relationships in a cool, casual space and atmosphere.

3. Will there be snacks?

Mark our words, there will always be snacks. Heavy apps and drinks (the alcoholic and non-alcoholic kind) will be on tap.
