About Event

Carbon Credits were sold as a revolutionary means to fund a new regenerative economy. Decades after their invention, when only 3% of credits can prove real planetary impact, can we say we’ve built a system where economy and ecology align in mutual prosperity?

No… but the potential for ecosystem service credits to incite a global shift towards regeneration is only getting started. Join the Regen Foundation as we resuscitate regenerative finance with emerging technology, ethical standards, and applied research to achieve persistent and verifiable planetary impact. If the systems we build to incentivize planetary regeneration are not (at least in part) owned and governed by the people on the front lines of the climate crisis, then we are just going to repeat the same harms of the past. [Without community ownership we are not going to make it.](https://regen.foundation/announcing-regen-foundations-first-cohort-of-endaoment-participants/)

As the non-profit arm of the larger Regen Network, the Regen Foundation is in a pivotal role to pilot groundbreaking applied research at the intersection regenerative finance, web3, and climate justice / ethics. Join us to learn how:

- The evolution of Regenerative Finance is community owned and governed through the enDAOment protocol.

- Women's savings cooperatives in East Africa leverage the blockchain and web3 tooling to scale impact through Chama DAOs.

- Rivers and forests can be legal persons with independent treasuries to directly fund and manage bioregional stewardship and regeneration through Rights Of Nature DAO.

- Decentralized regenerative science revolutionizes applied monitoring, verification, and environmental stewardship to create the highest quality ecoCredits.

Regen Foundation helps funders accelerate the ethical impact of their capital in the new economy and ensure the results are actually regenerative. We invite collaborators and institutional funding to join our efforts to expand these initiatives when they are needed most. Join our event to learn more about the new paradigms in impact finance and regeneration, and potential partnership opportunities going forward in 2023.

Let us out-collaborate global challenges!
