Community Strategy Hackathon for Non-Profits
🗓️ Tuesday, 8 July 2025
📍 Central London (venue visible after registration, Euston Tower)
💡 Part of London Community Week 2025
🎟️ Free for selected non-profits
A day of giving back. A day of building real impact — together.
The Community Strategy Hackathon brings UK-based non-profits face-to-face with expert community builders for a one-day sprint to co-design actionable community strategies that drive change.
Whether you’re a non-profit looking to engage people more deeply or a community professional who wants to use your skills for good, this is your space to collaborate, create, and contribute.
👥 For Non-Profits
We’re selecting 8 UK-based organisations to take part — each will be matched with a team of experienced community pros. You’ll spend the day working side-by-side on specific challenges like:
• Building a champions or volunteer programme
• Launching peer support or local chapters
• Creating a content or event calendar
• Improving member onboarding and engagement
• Designing feedback loops and UGC campaigns
Your team should include at least 2 staff members directly involved in outreach, engagement, or programming.
🧠 For Community Professionals
Join a team supporting one of the selected non-profits. You’ll bring your experience in community strategy, member experience, and facilitation to help design practical solutions.
You’ll be matched based on your strengths — whether in B2B SaaS, nonprofit, membership organisations, or grassroots work.
You don’t need to be a consultant. You just need to care.
🛠️ What the day looks like
• Hands-on co-creation sessions with a mission-driven org
• Real work: no lectures, no fluff, just strategy in action
• Final presentations to share what each team built
This is one of the most meaningful aspects of London Community Week — a time to utilise our knowledge to support those doing the work on the ground.
