Expert DOJO Stand Up Comedy- Holiday Edition ❄️☃️

​Join us tonight at Expert DOJO to celebrate the comedy that is venture capital over the past year.  The evening will be fun, with food and entertainment.  The objective is simple.  We just want to celebrate everything that is startup and have some fun doing it.  No need to register.  Just come along.

​We also want to celebrate Expert DOJO achieving over 220 investments in style with our friends.  It was 4 short years ago when we had the dream to help create a real startup ecosystem here in Santa Monica where we could touch startups all over the world.  We are now well on our way to making the difference we believe venture capital needs.

​OPENING COMEDIAN – Torio Van Grol

​Torio's debut comedy album "Magic Knees," reached #1 on the Apple comedy charts. He recently performed as a part of Comedy Central's Cluster Fest and performs regularly at other comedy festivals, including SF Sketchfest for the past five years.  In 2018, he was listed as one of the Bay Area's best stand-up comedians by SFist and won the title, "Best Joke" by the award-winning SF blog Courting Comedy.Type your paragraph here.

​HEADLINING COMEDIAN – Steve Furey

​Steve Furey is quickly emerging as one of the sharpest young stand-ups in the comedy world. His ability to craft jokes and command the stage has garnered attention in the LA comedy scene, as Furey was recently passed as the newest paid regular at The World Famous Comedy Store. Furey can currently be seen on E! as a co-host of Dating#NoFilter, and performs at clubs and festivals all over the country. He has performed with comics such as Bert Kreischer, Anthony Jeselnik, Natasha Leggero, Ron White, and Kyle Kinane, and can also be seen at Buried!, a monthly show that he runs at the Comedy Store.
