​CodeLaunch is a startup accelerator and live venturetainment experience where the best six Canadian founders get paired with professional software development teams powered by Improving to build their product and pitch it live— with no equity taken. 

​Each finalist takes the stage to share what they’ve built, and the audience helps decide the winner. One startup will earn a shot at $50K USD at the CodeLaunch World Championship this fall in Dallas, TX.

​5:00 – 7:00 PM | Pre-Party: Hip Hop Concert + Networking

• ​Live hip hop set by RajNATION

• ​Meet the finalists, sponsors, and Toronto’s startup community

• ​Drinks, music, and good energy to kick off the night

​7:00 – 8:30 PM | The Main Event: CodeLaunch Live Show

This is where it all goes down:

• ​6 startups go head-to-head in a bracket-style showdown

• ​The crowd votes after each round
  (you decide who moves on)

• ​We narrow it down to 3 finalists... then crown 1 CodeLaunch Canada Champion

• ​Special appearance by last year’s World Champ — Toronto’s own Materia Bioworks

​ 8:30 – 10:00 PM | After-Party Celebration

Head upstairs and join us across all three levels of El Mocambo for a final live rap set from Raj, good vibes, and a celebration of Toronto’s newest CodeLaunch champions.

​This will be our 23rd startup competition and our second time back in Toronto (check out our Canada event recap from last year)! Startup founders will have the opportunity to win at least $50,000 in investment capital, an additional tens of thousands in in-kind seed services such as software and product development, and the infamous CodeLaunch Championship Belt.
