About Event
There are 65 million deaf people in India facing significant challenges in communication.
This workshop aims to bring together diverse stakeholders—including members of the deaf community, developers, startups, policy makers, and accessibility advocates—to explore how AI can make listening and responding accessible for deaf people in India.
The event focuses on collaborative storytelling, brainstorming, and co-creation of AI use cases for helping deaf people in India communicate better.
With this event we are kicking off the accessibility community at people+ai. This will be a community of disabled people, techies, founders and policy makers passionate about building an accessible and inclusive India.
