​This is a study group on the topic of AI and Machine Learning. We will meet each week and actually study/discuss a shared topic in AI as it relates to the impact on work, art, culture, and our daily lives. This is a technical group, and we will work on code. If you are not a coder, it's fine, we ask you to participate by bringing your own skillsets and find ways to apply your talent in the group. Anyone is capable of testing, reading paper abstracts, proposing theories, and creating plans around reproducing results in research we will be looking at. If anything, one goal is to prepare each group member for the future where AI is a part of daily life and work. All aspects of the future of work in AI cannot possibly require PhDs, and everyone will need to find a way to fit into an algorithm driven future. The group will meet at the Santa Clara Central Library downstairs at the cafe. Look for the robot.
