Shadow Day of Life Skills: Pitch Like a Boss
Sign your grades 4–8 child up for this free, interactive financial literacy workshop!
In this action-packed 60-minute workshop, students will learn the essential skills for confident and compelling public speaking - from how to structure a presentation to using their voice, body language, and storytelling to connect with an audience. We’ll also cover common presentation mistakes and how to avoid them.
Then we’ll put those skills into action: each student will craft and deliver a short personal pitch about something they love or are passionate about. This session is designed specifically for students and will be highly interactive, with breakout rooms and group activities.
Parents are welcome to watch from the sidelines, but should not actively participate.
