​The Speakers Bio: Pierre Laroche, Ph.D. Managing Director – Business Strategy National Bank Financial Markets Pierre has been with the National Bank since January 2007. After taking different roles in quantitative investments, he is now primarily in charge of talent development at NBFM. Before joining NBC, he led an R&D team in another financial institution and was a professor of finance at HEC Montreal for 12 years, specializing in financial derivatives and financial engineering in HEC’s master’s program.
