Meet-up 1: No-Code/Low-Code
A Call to Connect
This May Day, we’re not sending a distress signal – we’re answering one.
Join us for the launch of Borders Tech Connect, a new initiative bringing students, businesses, and educators together to explore practical digital tools and solutions that can be built quickly and collaboratively — often without writing a single line of code.
Our first event focuses on No-Code/Low-Code technologies, No-code is about who gets to build software. It makes it easier for people from non-technical backgrounds to build websites, apps, games, etc. via intuitive interfaces and human language, rather than code.
We're really happy that Oli Littlejohn is leading us, he is a no-code enthusiast - he runs a regular meetup in Edinburgh (and occasionally elsewhere in Scotland) for people to come and learn about building software if they can't code. He'll talk about the current no-code landscape, where it's heading, and how you can get started.
You’ll hear from other speakers, learn about upcoming workshops, and meet others across the region who are working to build a smarter, more connected Borders tech ecosystem.
