We’re excited to announce BristleCon 2025, the second annual developer conference for the Bristlemouth community! Following the success of our inaugural event, we’re returning to Sofar Ocean HQ in downtown San Francisco for two days of hands-on workshops, networking, inspiring talks, and more.

Who should attend?
If you're working in ocean science, engineering, or interested in an open standard for marine technology, BristleCon is for you. Day 1 is open to all, while Day 2 focuses on developers and Bristlemouth projects.
Will sessions be live streamed or recorded?
Yes. Register for details about accessing the live stream. Most sessions will be recorded and made publicly available.
Will there be food and drinks?
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, and happy hour on both days.
How do I get there?
Sofar Ocean HQ is easily accessible via MUNI, BART, Caltrain, and SF Bay Ferries (near the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero).
Where can I stay?
The Hyatt Place San Francisco Downtown is a great option close to Sofar Ocean HQ.
Will there be a boat race?
