CookBook Club Potluck Dinner
Friends! I know how much you love food and exploring new things so this week we will gather around some yummy food and dive into a cookbook and try some new recipies! 🥘
For this evening, we'll delve into the culinary wonders of Alison Roman, a New York-based cook, writer and author of the New York Times bestsellers, Sweet Enough, Nothing Fancy, and Dining In. Each participant will select a recipe from her blog and embark on a culinary adventure together! 🍲
Rules for the Evening:
Please select a recipe from Alison Roman's Blog and submit what you will be cooking into this spreadsheet.
Make a small card with the name of the recipe that can be placed in front of the dish at the event. Highlight any allergens that others should be aware of.
Preparing for our conversations:
While making your meal, reflect on the following questions. Think of this as your marinade ahead of our evening! 💭
What is a nostalgic memory of yours that involves food?
What does your relationship with food currently look like? How do you think about food and feeding yourself? Is it fun? Is it a burden? How does food dictate your day?
Things to keep in mind:
You will not have access to an oven to reheat dishes.
Please bring serving utensils for your dish.
You want everyone to be able to taste your dish - aka there should be enough small bites for 12 people
Take common dietary restrictions intro consideration when selecting your recipe.
Arrive between 6.30pm-7pm so that we can get started with our sit-down meal while the food is warm!
When you arrive, buzz up to 104 to be let in. Take the elevator to floor 1 and the apartment is at the end of the hall. Call 201-724-4958 if you have trouble getting in!
With Love,
Cara
