Recognised by Telstra Health’s 2021 Brilliant Women in Digital Health initiative, she served as CEO & Medical Director of Telstra's telemedicine business, ReadyCare, and as Chief Medical Officer for Telstra Health. Amandeep is passionate about health technology start-ups, providing advisory services and co-founding Australian Medical Angels, an angel syndicate investing in health startups. She founded Creative Careers in Medicine, supporting over 20,000 doctors in career development. Feautring Zara Lord, CEO & Founder of uPaged
Zara Lord, raised on a remote cattle station, learned early on the value of hard work and problem-solving. At 14, she restored a 1976 HJ Holden from a dump yard, demonstrating her determination and resourcefulness. As an Intensive Care Nurse working long shifts and through agencies, Zara noticed inefficiencies and a lack of value in the system. Recognising the disconnect between agencies, nurses, hospitals, and patients, she founded uPaged to bridge these gaps. uPaged connects healthcare practitioners, agencies, and hospitals, ensuring better utilisation of skills and providing on-demand supply.
