About Event

Discover the fascinating crossroads between a watch party and a therapist's couch as we explore the art of watching movies through a therapeutic lens.

Join us on Thursday, 13th July, from 4 pm to 5 pm with Surbhi Anand for an immersive experience where we delve into popular film clips guided by prompts from a skilled psychologist who unravels emerging themes.

As a viewer, you will be encouraged to adopt a balcony view, allowing you to observe the issues presented and engage in deep reflection while learning effective strategies to navigate them. Following the screening, our psychologist will initiate a dynamic dialogue, inviting all curious questions into your mind and fostering insightful discussions and personal growth.

Prepare to embark on a transformative journey where cinema meets therapy, leaving you with valuable insights and practical takeaways to enrich your own life.

The event will cover:

  • Diverse Clips from All Walks of Life: Experience powerful snippets from popular media that delve into thought-provoking subjects such as boundaries, insecurities, etc. These clips will serve as catalysts for deep discussions and insights.

  • Receive a sensitive topic debrief and practical tools to support your personal journey.

  • Develop the ability to see yourself from a balcony view and gain a situational understanding of your behaviour.

  • Interactive QnA

The event is for you:

1- If you are a movie buff, of course :p

2- If you are curious to learn more about your well-being and actively work on it.

3- If you are ready to bring awareness to your patterns and proactively build new coping mechanisms for yourself.
