We are joining Knoxville Kwanzaa Collective and SpaceCraft in hosting the 6th Day of Kwanzaa with a Kuumba Jam!
Kuumba is a Swahili word that means "creativity" and is the sixth principle of Kwanzaa. The day is all about using your creative energy to improve the community and yourself. To honor that, we are providing time and space to create!
Schedule:
7pm-7:30pm Lighting of the Candles
8:30pm-9:30pm Music + Crafts
9:30pm Open Mic + Dance
11:30pm Preparing for the New Year Countdown
This is a family-centered event. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
Cost: Free | However we highly encourage donating to the Knoxville Kwanza Collective while you're there!
