​Let's get festive as we talk FAFSA, forms, and money! On December 5, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Eastern, this virtual event will get you ready for the all-new 2024-25 FAFSA.

​It'll be informative, engaging, and...maybe even a little fun?

​Our host, Geoff Decker, is excited to guide you through the process and answer all your burning questions. He'll be joined by Kim Nauer, a financial aid expert and a director with the New York City Center of Public Affairs at The New School. Her project, UnderstandingFAFSA.org is one of the best sources for relevant, practical and reliable information on the FAFSA and financial aid.

​Kim and Geoff are also co-authors of Understanding FAFSA & Financial Aid: Your Guide to Paying for College. All participants will automatically receive a free online copy of the 50-page book when it becomes available this month.

​Kim will give you the inside scoop on what financial aid really is and why it's so important your plans after high school. Then, we'll walk you through the process of creating an FSA ID, one of the best things you can do RIGHT NOW to be prepared when the new FAFSA drops (expected to be Dec. 31, 2023).
