Philosophical Sundays with The Balcony
Hey hey,
In this hour-long workshop, I'll help you identify goals and examine your attitude towards life as we start a new year. We'll use the work of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche as guidance for the workshop.
In the workshop, you will:
Discuss great ideas with like-minded people
Become more aware of your needs and desires
Reflect on life's big questions philosophically
Who's conducting it?
Hey 👋 I'm Nishant Kauntia, a writer based in Delhi. I got my BA and PGD in Philosophy at Ashoka University. I’ve led discussion sessions on existentialism and Indian philosophy as a teaching fellow. My writing has appeared in The Caravan, Scroll, and VICE India among others.
What others have said:
"I thought I'd be scared because it was a bunch of strangers, but Nishant created such a safe and cathartic space to pause and reflect. Like therapy, but with friendly faces!"
"The session was absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't have been able to speak if Nishant wasn't such a great listener. It felt like he really cared about what everyone was saying. So glad I attended!"
"Philosophy had seemed inaccessible to me, so I couldn't think of a better platform or guide to ease me into this world. Nishant's delivery didn't make me feel out of place even though I've read no philosophy."
