Ceramic Painting: A Tile Painting + Underglaze Workshop
We are so thrilled to have illustrator, animator + ceramicist Rama Duwaji joining us in the studio this October to introduce us to the art of ceramic painting.
We’ll learn about her inspiration, process and techniques— with a demonstration on painting with underglaze before designing + painting our own set of 4 ceramic tiles<3 We’ll take care of the glazing and firing— pickup your finished pieces at the studio within 2 weeks. Hang in your home, or use them as the most stunning custom coasters.
Whether you are entirely new to ceramics, or looking to enhance your practice with new techniques— there’s room for you at our long, communal art/craft table!
All materials + warm beverages are included!
We're excited to announce that we have two scholarship spaces (50% off the workshop cost and one at 100% off the workshop cost) reserved for people in need of financial assistance. A note on pickup:
Please note that all pieces must be picked up from RecCreate Collective (with option for Uber Courier pickup). We will provide 4-8 pickup options over the course of 2 weeks with both weekend and weeknight options. We are also able to uber courier the pieces during those windows if given sufficient notice and coordinated by the student. We cannot assume any responsibility for lost or damaged pieces if this option is chosen.

Cancelation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or use our ticket swap sheet. Just send us an email!

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
