Sean will reveal how StratFin roles differ by company stage from Series A/B through post-IPO; the 4 general types of StratFin roles and how that tracks into your day-to-day; and provide advice on how to leverage your experience in banking, accounting or corporate finance at a large company to break into StratFin roles and beyond (BizOps, Product, Data, etc.).

​​​Who: Skillful mentor Sean Newman is leading the forthcoming Strategic Finance Sprint. Sean pivoted into StratFin at Uber from the corporate finance leadership program at GE. At Uber, he spent time in corporate finance and product finance. He recently joined Alto Pharmacy to focus on data analytics and growth. Sean is our accessible expert - a rising star in tech who lives & breathes his Sprint daily. He has had an indelible impact on the careers of so many of his mentees through the Core Sprint.
