Time Out @ Fabrik DUMBO (Special Saturday Adventure)
Escape the Monday-Friday routine and introduce your favorite people to the Fabrik community during our special Saturday adventure! This is an immersive experience that deepens relationships with both your Fabrik community and the vibrant DUMBO neighborhood. Bring along friends, family, or potential Fabrik members to experience our community beyond the typical workweek. Please feel free to bring a friend by sharing this link with them to register.
If the agenda below doesn't suit your schedule or if you just want to have a low key time at Fabrik, that's great too! Feel free to join us from 12-6pm and enjoy the space as you see fit. Whether you're getting some work done, reading a book or catching up with a friend, we're excited to open up our doors to you for this special Saturday.
Day's Agenda
12:00 PM - Arrive at Fabrik DUMBO
Begin your adventure at our space at 20 Jay St, where you'll meet fellow community members and receive your Time Out @ Fabrik game card.
12:30 PM - Lunch Exploration
Head out to Time Out Market or another local eatery for lunch (note: not provided by Fabrik, but we recommend you bring $20 if you're interested in trying out a new place) while making new connections in a relaxed weekend atmosphere.
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM - DUMBO Scavenger Hunt
Navigate through this historic waterfront district with your friends, uncovering hidden gems and sharing authentic moments. The participant who collects the most finds will win a free month-long Social Pass to Fabrik ($100 value; or a gift card of equivalent value for existing members).
4:00 PM - Ice Cool Happy Hour
Reconvene at Fabrik for a refreshing happy hour celebration co-hosted by Fabrik member Joni Goldblach. This hour includes:
Ice cream, iced tea and summer spritzers
Board games to continue the fun
a DJ session by Fabrik member (Product Coach by day, DJ by night), Jori Bell
Opportunity to make dinner plans with your new friends
The Time Out Challenge
Together with your companions, you'll explore iconic photo spots, artistic landmarks, and local hidden gems. Share discoveries, stories, and laughs as you navigate this unique Brooklyn neighborhood at your own pace. Special thanks to DUMBO NYC (https://dumbo.nyc/) for their recommendations on the most iconic neighborhood spots included in our scavenger hunt.
The Celebration
We'll conclude our day with our Ice Cool happy hour, raising glasses to celebrate our shared experiences, new connections, and the distinctive character of DUMBO that brings us together.
