About Event

A fast-paced, hands-on workshop for UX/UI/Product designers on building functional web apps and prototypes using AI.

Gain the confidence to plan, build, and deploy your own web app using tools like Lovable, Bolt.new, V0, Replit. By the end, you’ll be ready to build a working product, whether as a designer working at a company, or for independent ventures.

This workshop is built specifically for UX, UI, and product designers. It assumes you're comfortable with design tools and workflows, and considers (but not limited by) realities of working in teams—navigating design systems, collaborating with teammates, and integrating with existing assets and infrastructure.

Who is this course for:

01 Designers who want to build MVPs and test ideas fast

Skip the dev queue. Turn your concepts into a functional app for real-world feedback.

02 Designers who want to ship apps, not just mockups

Stop getting stuck at the “hand-off.” Learn how to take control of the frontend and backend—without writing code from scratch.

03 Designers, who want to change the status quo

Optimize your design-to-dev workflow by handing off real, usable code alongside your designs.

Workshop structure:

  • Why vibe-code?

    • A crash course in the shift from traditional design/dev handoffs to collaborative AI-assisted development.

  • Vibe-coding tools overview

    • A practical guide to tools like Lovable, V0, Bolt, Replit and more.

  • Core tech concepts, simplified

    • Learn what you actually need to know: front-end frameworks and libraries (React, Vue, React Native, Tailwind), backend services (like Supabase), version control (GitHub), and deployment (custom domains, app stores). No worries, you won’t have to write any code, not even in a Terminal.

  • Leverage existing design assets

    • Work with Figma assets and design systems.

  • Plan and Prompt the app feature prototype How to explain AI what to build (leverage ChatGPT, Claude and other LLM to help with prompting).

  • Launch it

    • Deploy your app live to the web, app stores or hand it off with clean code that devs will love.

What to bring with:

  • Laptop

  • Basic idea what they want to build (Figma drafts are optional)

About our community:

Employed.world

We support UX community in Berlin/Germany by connecting them with emphatic mentors, job coaches and professionals working currently or in the past worked for companies in Berlin and contributed to the hiring process, by also connecting you with current hiring managers so you can get the opportunity to seek guidance and feedback based on the challenges that you are personally facing. We spoke with job seekers and found out that many are lacking transparent feedback on their profile, job applications, some may need guidance to understand their superpower and so they can stand out from other 100s of applicants or some might feel there are too few job opportunities in the market that they are looking for, then what is the strategy to find or even create roles for you?
