​​​Slow Night and The Drake Hotel invite non-artists, bad artists, and burnt out creatives for a chill night of sketching. Come explore your creative side in a relaxed, low-pressure environment with like-minded adults.

​​​We’ll be exploring playful, open-ended drawing prompts and encouraging your imagination to run wild. All art materials are provided, so come as you are with good vibes and an open mind! We welcome all skill levels, but especially beginners.

​​​🍔🍸 Enjoy drinks, dinner, or snacks while you draw! The Drake's full food menu and exclusive Lobby Bar cocktail menu by Jeremy Day is available for purchase

​​​🌀 This event is semi-guided but not instructional. We'll go through group warm-up exercises and the prompt menus, then you're free to sketch as you please. Facilitators are available anytime you want advice or help!

​​​Things to note:

​​​Refunds/cancellations:
Tickets can’t be refunded or exchanged, so please double check dates and be sure you can attend before you reserve. If something comes up and you’re unable to make it, you’re welcome to have a friend attend in your place, just have them give your name when they check in.

We may take photos/videos during events for marketing purposes, so you or your work may be recorded. By attending, you confirm that you’re cool with that, and that you won’t hold us (or the companies we partner with) responsible for any damages.

​​​Abandoned artwork:
Any art left behind at the end of the event is considered abandoned. To retain rights under the Copyright Act, please take your art with you or let us know before you go. We will never claim authorship of abandoned artwork, but may use it for marketing, repurpose as source material, etc.
