About Event

Get your hands dirty!

Join Test Plot and Terremoto for a morning of botanizing, weeding and caring for a California native plant habitat restoration project at the Starr King Open Space in Potrero Hill. You'll learn 10 native plants and about the broader Serpentine Grassland ecosystem. Come help us care for the land and learn about our community stewardship programs. Climate action begins with developing a relationship with your local ecology.

Bring gloves (if you have them), water, sun protection, and use the bathroom beforehand. We'll provide hand weeding tools, snacks and good vibes.

TEST PLOT is a nonprofit that builds experimental restoration gardens throughout California that are responsive to site, community, and resources. Our mission is to build a land ethic based on cultural care and ecological stewardship. www.testplot.info

TERREMOTO is a landscape architecture design studio with offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. https://terremoto.la/
