Mother Tongue Walk & Picnic
We are so excited to be partnering up with Chauntelle of The Barefoot Planter to host a picnic and walk through Woodberry Wetlands in London. 🦆🦆
This community event is for those who self-identify as mixed, dual heritage, or multicultural people of colour. 💗 We are building a diverse & inclusive community that understands we belong in nature.
📅 Join us on Sunday 28 July from 11am-2pm - we will meet outside the entrance of the Coal House Café inside Woodberry (message Isabella at +447393947959 if you get lost)
🍄 Tickets are on a sliding scale from £3-£10 suggested offering, so we can bring you some delicious plant-based snacks by The Barefoot Planter 💕 If you prefer to attend this event for free you can bring your own drinks and pack lunch with you 🥪 Please just let us know if you'll be attending with your own food!
Please bring:
- A bowl or Tupperware and cutlery (so we can be as sustainable as possible and reduce our waste!)
- A water bottle and/or camping mug
You might also want to bring:
- Binoculars to check out the wildlife!
