What happens at afk
the coolest, nerdiest, and most dedicated nerds from hack nights get together to do things away from our keyboards!
the idea with this is to just get together and have some fun in a low-effort way. each event will cater to our interests and will ideally be mentally stimulating without being overwhelming.

What is Critical Mass?
it's a monthly group bike ride in Miami (and all over the world) that's been happing on the last Friday of every month for the last 20-ish years!
expect a few hundred to over 1,000 participants taking over the streets of Miami to do a 12-20 mile route that changes each month. average speed is 12-14 mph.

⏰ Schedule for this afk outing:
6:45pm show up
7:15pm wheels up
9:00pm-ish ride ends, get foooood
⚠️ Do not arrive late! The ride starts at 7:15pm sharp and it's very difficult to catch up.
Need to rent a bike?
Visit the Miami Bike Shop on Biscayne Blvd and 18th to rent a bike. They stay open late after critical mass so you can return the bike after the ride.
Bringing your own bike?
Make sure it has air in the tires
Make sure the chain is oiled
