SF Climate Week 2024: Angel Investing in Climate Tech
An afternoon/evening of learning, connections and climate action, hosted by a climate tech angel investor.
Investing in climate tech could be the biggest investment opportunity in history. $28B in climate tech funding was recorded in 2023 alone. The projection for 2024 is that climate tech funding will see an uptick in venture capital and private equity interest. Even so there may be a $2 trillion private funding gap for next-generation climate technologies by 2030. A solution to addressing the climate tech private funding gap is to recruit angel investors (both accredited and non-accredited) that use invested money as a force for good in the fight against climate change.
