What’s Happening?
For over 3 weeks this fall (Nov 15 - Dec 25), Castalia will host 50 residents focused on pushing the boundaries of science. They’ll be working together to spark discoveries, develop cutting-edge products, and push the boundaries of what science can achieve. This isn't your average tech event — there are no conference-style talks or passive panels. Castalia is hands-on, with real projects, real experiments, and real breakthroughs happening right before your eyes.
Who is it for?
Think of it as the home for those who believe that knowledge thrives through collaboration and experimentation. If you're driven by curiosity, experimentation, and the pursuit of knowledge, Castalia is where you belong.
Castalia is home for all things DeSci (decentralized science). Scientists will be able to run experiments. Developers will be supported in building & hacking on impactful projects. Those curious about the future will have their mind expanded. Join and experience it yourself!

Why is this happening?
Castalia is an experiment in unstructured innovation and emergence. The event is inspired by Balajis Network State concept and Zuzalu
We’re pushing the boundaries of what event structures can be, creating a “floating city” where people can collaborate and advance science in ways that weren’t possible before the rise of decentralization. We’re paving the way for future pop-up cities and network-state events that focus on advancing specific domains.
What does the pass cover?
Entrance to the venues (co-working area, social house, free breakfast), community dinners and more!. Accomodation is not included but we can provide a list of places nearby.
